WHAT COMES ON EACH OF THE STATION CDS?

A) 63 station cards in PDF format in English and in French
B) 3 instructional tracks describing what to do at each station
C) 2 original and upbeat music tracks with preset timing and cues

A) THE STATION CARDS

• Total of 63 unique station cards per CD
• There are 7 stations and a total of 9 activity cards per station
• The cards are pre-split into 3 sets that match the vocal instructions
• The kids have 3 activities to complete at each station
• Station cards are made up of station names, drawings and written instructions in English and French
• The station cards are included on the CD in PDF format and can be printed and laminated – This allows you to reprint any cards that might get lost or damaged.

B) THE INSTRUCTIONS

The vocal instructions describe the three activities at each station and corresponding station cards for the matching track. Once the activity instructions are complete there is a review of the ‘change activity’ and ‘change station’ cues. The instructional time is approximately 3 minutes.

C) THE MUSIC - 2 tracks

• 1 track with three 30-second long ‘activity’ periods - Track time: 13m 30s
• 1 track with three 45-second ‘activity’ periods - Track time: 18m 30s
• ‘Change activity cues’ followed by a ‘change station cue’
• 20 second switch time to “neatly put down your equipment and move to the next station”

EQUIPMENT NEEDED

• Handkerchiefs
• Balls
• Bean Bags
• Hula hoops
• Skipping ropes
• Discs
• ‘Just you’, equipment free station

There are 2 sections to each CD; the data section and the audio section.

1. Put the CD in the CD-ROM of your computer, do not auto play the audio
2. Open Windows Explorer (right click the start button and select ‘Explore’)
3. Select the CD that contains the Stations CD
4. Open the English or French folder and open track 1, 2 or 3
5. Print the station cards and keep them in the order they print (track 1, 2 and 3)
6. Split the gym into 7 stations with equipment
7. Stick the station cards on the wall
8. Listen to audio track 1with the students, this is a 3 minute optional instructional track
9. Split the students up between the 7 stations
10. Push play on track 4 or 5 of the CD and enjoy the Circuit
11. Repeat this sequence for a couple more days until students are familiar with routine
12. Repeat with station cards for track 2 and 3 for a new set of activities

Tips and fun tricks

• Print cards and have the students colour them in, then laminate. This will help the students feel ownership and familiarity with the activity.
• If the cards get lost or damaged, reprint them
• After running through the 3 preset tracks with the pre-recorded instructions, mix and match the cards to match your students skill and enjoyment levels
• For smaller classes or numbering purposes run 4, 5 or 6 stations at a time instead of all 7
• While running the circuit, the pre-timed music will allow you to circulate, participate and assist students.
